As a part of the renovation and redesign program by Marion Bernard agency for a townhouse in Marseille, two floor-tile drawings are conceived and produced for the „garden room“, a half open, half covered backyard of the house: The geometry and unity of a classical parquet pattern is kept visible as the figurative and organic potential of a mosaic. Two ancient principals merge into a new partition, a contemporary image of rhythm.
